THE QUICK ANSWER

Open your pet inventory before treating an empty pen as a lost pet. A pet can still be owned while it is unequipped. Check its entry and your active-pet count; a full pen can prevent another pet from being placed.

The linked gameplay demonstrates inventory, unequipping and Equip Best. It does not demonstrate recovering a deleted, sold or otherwise missing pet. Additional checks were added October 25, 2026; this is not a new live-server or mobile-control test.

Start with the pet inventory

Use the pet control shown as a paw icon in the gameplay. Search your owned entries for the pet’s name. The egg button and the pet button are separate, so check the egg list as well if the hatch has not finished.

The Pet Index is a collection record. Seeing a species there is not enough to establish that you still own a particular copy. For this check, use the inventory entry and active count.

What to compare: the owned pet entry, its equip state and the active count. Compare the recorded inventory sequence at 15:46–16:00. The exact position of the control on a phone has not been verified here.

If it is listed, check the active slots

  1. Note the active count. A count at capacity explains why another owned pet may not be in the pen.
  2. Check the intended pet’s equip state. In the recorded example, unequipping existing pets makes space to place another one. Prefer the individual pet’s control when you want to keep a specific pet visible.
  3. Use Equip Best only if that is your goal. The footage shows this control filling active slots. It does not promise to select the pet you were looking for.
  4. Check the pen again. If the entry says active but its model is still absent, capture both screens. That is a different problem from an unequipped pet.
Next check: if the pet is marked active but its model is absent, compare the inventory and display states. Do not sell, fuse or gift a pet merely to free an active slot.

Active entry, missing model: record both states

Compare the owned entry and active count with the pen before changing anything else. Save a view of each, plus the pet name and any on-screen error.

What this establishes: the inventory and display disagree. It does not establish that the pet was deleted, or identify a proven fix.

The linked footage does not test this failure. We cannot promise a recovery through rejoining, reinstalling or using a visibility setting. If the mismatch persists, use the support links on the official experience page, if available.

Check whether the hatch has finished

The egg and pet controls are separate in the recording. If you still have an unhatched egg, check its remaining hatch time and item name in the egg list. Do not expect that egg to appear as an owned, hatched pet yet.

Next check: after the game shows a completed hatch, look for the resulting pet in your owned inventory. A collection entry alone is not that confirmation.

If the entry is missing, preserve the details

Write down the exact pet name, the time you last saw it, and the last action you took. An inventory check cannot establish whether a sale, fusion, gift or save issue happened.

  • Save the inventory and active-count screens.
  • Include any visible error and whether the item was an egg or a hatched pet.
  • Use the developer’s support channel linked from the official Roblox experience, if available. This independent site cannot access account inventories.

A reinstall or repeated purchase is not a demonstrated recovery method. Avoid spending another valuable item simply to test whether the missing pet returns.
